Since our inception, Norwest has continued to grow to meet the ever-changing needs of our clients.  In response to an expanding need for integrated energy consulting services, Norwest merged with oil and gas consulting company Questa Engineering in 2003.  This created one of the world’s most fully integrated energy consultancies, and expanded our expertise to include the conventional oil and gas, coalbed methane, coal mine methane, and unconventional gas industries.  The merger allowed Norwest and Questa to expand upon the strength of both companies and offer unmatched energy industry expertise.

Norwest completed an additional merger with Applied Hydrology Associates in 2004, expanding our hydrological and environmental capabilities to include surface and ground water hydrology, mining hydrology, coal bed methane hydrology, and site remediation.
